The support office
As decided by the country Parties, the PISLM Support Office will be hosted by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago and operationalized through the Caribbean Network for Rural Development (CNIRD), in the last quarter of 2006.
The Support Office will further develop the functions and mandate of the PISLM and will facilitate co-ordination between the countries and convergence with other ongoing initiatives.
The GM and UNEP will continue to provide technical and financial support for the consolidation of the PISLM through the Support Office.
