Objectives
The overall objective of DIFS is to promote secure and sustainable financing for combating desertification and promoting sustainable land management in WANA.
The specific objectives are:
- to build capacity to create an enabling environment conducive to investment in drylands; and
- to develop capacity to design and implement national and multi-country strategies to mobilize financial resources.
