The DIFS Initiative is being developed under the Regional Programme for Sustainable Development of the Drylands of West Asia and North Africa (WANA Programme) and brings together Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Lybia, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, The Palestinian Authority, Tunisia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia and Yemen.
The initiative is being financed by the OPEC Fund and the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC).
