As part of its institutional mandate to promote the mobilization and channelling of substantial financial resources to affected developing countries, the GM has developed the Financial Information Engine on Land Degradation (FIELD) with the overall objective of informing and sensitizing target audiences on the financial risks, opportunities, costs and benefits of sustainable land management (SLM) investments and other UNCCD implementation-related activities.
