The Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) is the provider of development finance and technical assistance from the Kingdom of Sweden, and it works under the supervision of the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Description
SIDA works according to directives of the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and it is committed to reducing poverty worldwide and enhancing livelihoods, with a focus on rural areas and youth and gender inclusion.
SIDA acts both as a bilateral donor and a co-financer in multilateral assistance, in partnership with the World Bank Group, the GEF and several UN agencies. Private sector, NGOs and community-based organizations are all eligible to receive financial and technical support.
